you are the one who is strange…
or strange is the world itself?
fifteen tales from the supernatural
seeking the answers of life, death
and the time beyond them…
You just need to keep changing your lenses
to see the different versions of them…
About the Author:
Romit Bagchi is a journalist and a writer. His first book “Gorkhaland: Crisis of Statehood” was published by Sage India in 2012. His articles, written on political, social and spiritual subjects, were published in several newspapers and magazines over the years. “Deathless” is his first venture into the realm of fiction.
From a Bengali Brahmo family, he spent his school days in Santiniketan. He then returned to Calcutta, his native city, and continued his studies from there. He joined The Statesman in 2006. He chose to work from Siliguri/Darjeeling because of his love for the Himalayas. He was the bureau- in- charge of the north Bengal and Sikkim edition of the paper for some years. He then came back to Calcutta as the chief sub-editor of The Statesman in January 2014.
But his love for the Himalayas made him leave the city again just after six months and he came to Uttarakhand with a job for The Pioneer. He worked for The Pioneer for nearly five years as the assistant news editor, also as the editorial- in-charge of the Dehradun bureau of the Uttarakhand edition of the paper.
He left The Pioneer in April 2019 to focus fully on this book.
